1 Corinthians 13
New Revised Standard Version

The Gift of Love

13 If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast,[External link opens in new tab or windowa] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8 Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end. 9 For we know only in part, and we prophesy only in part; 10 but when the complete comes, the partial will come to an end. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly,[External link opens in new tab or windowb] but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known. 13 And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

I Love To Tell The Story (Eaton Square)

Verse 1

I love to tell the story

Of unseen things above

Of Jesus and His glory

Of Jesus and His love

I love to tell the story

Because I know 'tis true

It satisfies my longings

As nothing else can do

Chorus

I love to tell the story

'Twill be my theme in glory

To tell the old old story

Of Jesus and His love

Verse 2

I love to tell the story

More wonderful it seems

Than all the golden fancies

Of all our golden dreams

I love to tell the story

It did so much for me

And that is just the reason

I tell it now to thee

Verse 3

I love to tell the story

'Tis pleasant to repeat

What seems each time I tell it

More wonderfully sweet

I love to tell the story

For some have never heard

The message of salvation

From God's own holy Word

Verse 4

I love to tell the story

For those who know it best

Seem hungering and thirsting

To hear it like the rest

And when in scenes of glory

I sing the new new song

'Twill be the old old story

That I have loved so long

Mighty To Save

Everyone needs compassion Love that's never failing

Let mercy fall on me

Everyone needs forgiveness The kindness of a Savior

The hope of nations

Chorus

Savior He can move the mountains

My God is mighty to save He is mighty to save

Forever Author of salvation

He rose and conquered the grave Jesus conquered the grave

So take me as You find me All my fears and failures

Fill my life again

I give my life to follow Everything I believe in

Now I surrender (chorus)

Shine your light and let the whole world see, We're singing

For the glory of the risen King, Jesus

Shine your light and let the whole world see, We're singing

For the glory of the risen King

King Of Love

With the hands that formed the world, You washed our feet

Kneeling down You laid aside Your majesty

And You said for us to go and do the same

So we serve for the glory of our King

You left Heaven's throne to rescue what was lost

Stretching out Your mighty arms to bear the cross

Then You rolled away the stone the victory won

And You said go and tell the world What love has done

Chorus

King of love let Your kingdom come

Reign in us Your daughters and Your sons

Fill us up 'til we overflow

With Your love until the whole world knows

You are the King of love

Give us hearts that long to see Your justice done

And let the river of Your mercy flow through us

And let compassion be the loudest song we sing

'Til the day when every tongue declares You King

Hallelujah to the King of love

All praise and glory to the King of love

This Is My Father's World

Verse 1

This is my Father's world

And to my list'ning ears

All nature sings and 'round me rings

Music of the spheres

This is my Father's world

I rest me in the thought

Of rocks and trees of skies and seas

His hand the wonders wrought

Verse 2

This is my Father's world

The birds their carols raise

The morning light the lily white

Declare their Maker's praise

This is my Father's world

He shines in all that's fair

In the rust'ling grass I hear Him pass

He speaks to me ev'rywhere

Verse 3

This is my Father's world

O let me ne'er forget

And though the wrong seems oft so strong

God is the Ruler yet

This is my Father's world

The battle is not done

Jesus who died shall be satisfied

And earth and heaven be one

 The Gift Of Love

Verse 1

Though I may speak with bravest fire

And have the gift to all inspire

And have not love my words are vain

As sounding brass and hopeless gain

Verse 2

Though I may give all I possess

And striving so my love profess

But not be given by love within

The profit soon turns strangely thin

Verse 3

Come Spirit come our hearts control

Our spirits long to be made whole

Let inward love guide every deed

By this we worship and are freed

Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow (Old 100th)

Chorus

Praise God from whom all blessings flow

Praise Him all creatures here below

Praise Him above ye heavenly host

Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost

Amen
